Well after lifting weights all week and doing some interval training (20 min run to weights to 10 min run or bike back to weights and finally back to stair climber then back to weights) IT HURTS. I know I have been in good shape but I haven't lifted weights in a month do to tapering down for the triathlon and then breaking after the tri. IT HURTS. I can't move my arms today, my back and chest are sore. Did I let you know IT HURTS yet.
Well it will be worth it in the end. Nothing much has been going on due to the craziness of work. We just released a completed modified GV to our customer. Remember I do engineering on aircraft. Well my beautiful and wonderful wife has decided to run her first 5K this weekend. It is for ACE and TJ in Charlotte, NC. Should be lots of fun. My only dilemma is that I told my wife that I would run it with her. She is planning on running 12 min miles. I don't know if I can run that slow. I told her I would finish the race as fast I could and then turn around and run it with her. It still bothers me that I told her that I would run it with her and now I am not. Well she is awesome and knows that I love to compete and they have a "fat boy" division that I can compete in. Hopefully I will do OK. I will update you next week.
Anyway, after the race I am going to chill with my old college roommate and then Sunday afternoon go and see the Panthers play the Chargers. Which, hopefully they will win. They being the Panthers. Well I hope everyone has an awesome weekend.
