Well the I got a replacement wheel from my buddy Ben and it tested out ok last night. I am going for a BRICK session tonight. Somewhere around 18 miles and a 4 or 5 mile jog. I will have to see how hot it gets today to see what distance I will run. I want to hit it pretty hard but I don't want to kill myself. This might be the last thing I do. I might swim some tomorrow but I am not sure yet.
Race day seems like it will be a good one. The only down side is they have already stated that wetsuits will NOT be allowed. This hurts some people because the wetsuit helps with buoyancy. I should be fine but I always seem to get in my head that this will be hard. I can do the distance it is just a mental thing. I feel pretty good. My hip seems to be tight but nothing that I would feel after I get going on race day! After this weekend I will start getting ready for Ironman Florida! I have a lot of hard work ahead of me but I feel confident as long as I can get the work in! It will be hard but I should be OK once I get a few other items like the bike trainer and what not!
