What am I doing??? Help please...

Well I have been completely unmotivated, except on a few occasions, to do anything at all. Is it the "Ironman depression"? I don't know but I feel like just sitting and enjoying my time. I guess it is hard to make change in from my old schedule (OLD: working out early morning twice a week and doing the rest after work to NEW: Working out every morning in the gym.). Just seems hard to get up at 5 and get going even though I know I can do it and have don it in the past.

I guess the real problem is with the holiday season going I don't want to lose where I am in weight or cardio. I really want to take that into next season so I can accomplish my goals there.

What are some tricks that you guys and gals do to stay on top during the "load'em up" season?

Let me know and take care!

I'm probably not the best example, but I was completely unmotivated after Vineman so I signed up for the Rock & Roll AZ. It made me get off my butt and get back to training (barely but I'm trying). Maybe you could schedule some small fun stuff to do between now and next season? Like local 5ks or 10ks to help you with your speed and keep you running. Maybe look for something off road for the bike or the run to switch it up a bit. Or try something completely different like karate or dancing lessons.

Anyway...Happy Thanksgiving!

Hey -stumbled upon your blog - great job at IM FL!!! I had my PR there a few weeks ago.
Dont' get depressed - get registered for something - anything. Do the Turkey Trot tomorrow, check out Active.com and just register... plan out your year and get on your bike. I hear about so many people that go through that post-IM-funk... don't let it be you!
p.s. - I saw that your are a fan of JC - He totally digs it that did an Ironman! I talked to Him on the course the whole day. ;-)
