Politics...

I am dreading this next year.... For the triathlon season? No! For the possibility of more war? NO! For the upcoming election? YES!

I am a conservative that cares for the environment, I hate BIG Government, and I like the idea put forth by Neil Boortz for taxation. Ok so that really makes me a moderate or whatever. I do know this... I HATE politicians. Both are scoundrels and will do anything for power. I believe the lesser of evils are the republicans because of what they stand for in legislation (AT TIMES!!). Not that I want to spool up a bunch of comments on this because I do believe God is completely and ultimately in control. I will do my part but God is in control and I hand over my life to him to guide me.

But the point of today's post, even though this isn't about triathlons, I hate our current politicians and the system they work in. Just reading Drudge and other news outlets, it just frustrates me to NO END! I read the Bible and I feel like Jesus would condemn these people like he did the Pharisee's. Crazy stuff going on in the world right now and more people are concerned about who can Dance better or be our next American Idol, when in the end it really doesn't matter. God loves us, he sent his Son to die for us, he rose, GAME OVER! We win if you simply believe in Him and act on those beliefs by reading and understanding his Word. A lot of people are hurting out there and they want to fill a void that only Jesus can fill. Sorry for the preaching today just a lot on my heart this morning. Comments welcome!
