Man I have really not been updating everyone on my tri schedule. Well I guess I just got a little to busy at lunch to complete my blog. Anyway, last week was OK I missed my long bike ride this weekend due to no sleep the night before because of a church function.
The last few runs I have felt a tweak in my knee. I don't like it. So I really need to ice and heat and take some ant-flamers so the small tendon doesn't stay inflamed. My problem is that I don't stay focused on getting well or taking care of my injuries when they first arise. I made sure on my long run thought that I would back off when it would tweak. That seemed to really help when it did act up and I got in a full long run of 7.5 miles in 60 mins. Not bad. I was pleased and I didn't have any knee problems the rest of the day.
This weeks training has started off with a kick since I took a spin class this morning. Those are tough! I hope to get in a swim and then some more bike and maybe a run if I have time. I have my first birthing class with my wife tonight. She is going to attempt a natural childbirth, which I call her "Ironman", and we are going to a Bradley class tonight. Should be interesting.
