Today is a new day...

So last night was a track night for me. I ran to my wife's school where they have a track. It takes about 1.25 miles to get there. I ran .25 @ 6 min/mile, walk .125, .5 @ 615 min/mile, walked .25, .75 @ 630 min/mile, walked .25, .5 @ 630 min/mile, walked slow jogged .25, .25 @ 545 min/mile, and then ran back home for some supper. There were some families there and a baseball practice the sun was out and it was great.

Now it is the time of the blog to learn something about the Clydesdale...
Well speaking of baseball practice and looking back on life, I remember my childhood. My Dad put me in every sport possible at the earliest age possible. I was playing tackle football at 6 with 10 and 11 year olds. I used to go home crying after those practices. Basketball as well because we just had enough kids sign up to have one team with some 11 year olds down to me at 6 playing on 10 foot goals. Man I hated that. But then there was baseball. I exceled at that and made the All-Stars every year. I loved baseball, I still enjoy watching games from time to time and going to see the big boys play and even 5 year olds play is very entertaining. You look back at life and you see these things that happened that REALLY changed your life. You wouldn't be were you are at this very moment if that one thing didn't happen. I look back at baseball when I got my nose almost knocked off by a baseball. Three surgeries later and deciding not to play sports in high school really did change and define my life. I was a band dork and without the mentoring of my band teacher I probably wouldn't have gone to college, I would probably be working at a gas station with three teeth and 5 kids or something. Anyway, I always look back in my life and enjoy seeing those hard times that really defined me and my life that I have now. Without those things I wouldn't have all the amazing things I have now and I am about to have.

PEACE OUT!

Are you regretting the whole band thing since you could have had the option of still living in the country and only having 3 teeth to brush would definately be a perk for you, plus you would have already had 5 kids versus just now having one on the way? I couldn't tell if you were sad or happy about the road you took. It was not really stated.
