Well I was out of town all week in DC for training, for my new position at my job. Well I was pumped when I arrived Monday that I would be able to do some of my training. Well I walked around the hotel looking for the gym. It stated that it had some machines to do cardio with. Well there was nothing really in there, so no bike for the week. So I decided that I could my runs outside. The pool was tiny but it was indoors. I just didn't feel like I could get a good swim in so no swim either. My run on Wednesday was very cool. We ran around the downtown area taking in the sites as much as we wanted. Pretty cool and a very easy 5 miles. But that was about all I did. BAD ASHLEY!!!
So Saturday came and I hopped on the bike and did a 3 hr ride which felt good. Sunday was supposed to be a brick but I had some bad stomach problems so I wussed out on that.
So with all of that said and just 10 weeks until Ironman Florida, I really need to dig down and finish my workouts from here on out. I am able to do my long stuff I just need to focus on the little ones and get out there and do them. Keep me accountable for wanting to wuss out. The wife does a pretty good job of that but any suggestions and help is good to me. I hope everyone else had a better week then I. Take it easy.

Just think about how much better you will be at running when you finish all this Ironman cross-training!
