Well training for this week...

Training for this week is already shot. I am just going to get ready for the long weekend ahead. How is it shot you ask? Well Tuesday (bike of an hour or so) a storm decided to ravage Greenville county as soon as I stepped outside to get going. I got my interval run in the next morning but the wife and I have been looking for a new car for me, so I can carry the T-man around. A truck is not to useful for that. So we found a nice little sporty Mazda 3 hatchback, as shown below, and we got it last night, which means "NO SWIM FOR ME!". Well I am pretty confident in my swimming abilities so I am not TO (keyword) worried about missing that. I am not fast but I can hammer out a mile in 30 minutes so I am not to scared about that. (Yes I am showing off my abilities!) Well anyway this week has started of screwy and hopefully I can finish the week strong and get the weekend stuff knocked out.

On that note, we have a couple of local tri events occurring this week that I will be attending.
First is the TRI to Cure Youth Tri, which will be held at the outstanding facilities at Furman University. (YES they are FU and they like to chant that at games and they used to be Baptist affiliated! Go figure! Baptist, what can you do with em'?) Secondly, some of my training partners will be hitting this event up, Greenville Sprint Tri! Pew and Big Ben (also Fancy Pants) will be looking to improve their times and come away with some hardware. Good luck guys. Pew's nephew and some kids at our church will be attacking the Tri to Cure. Way to go guys.

Have a good week! PEACE!

I wondered if you were sick since you haven't posted in a week. When I mentioned my concern to Steve he said not to worry that you would be back at work on Monday and he was sure you would post once you got there! I hope you enjoyed your time off. :)
