Boo Ashley...

This weekend was supposed to be a long brick workout. That didn't happen. I kept paying attention to the weather reports calling for strong thunderstorms so the wife and I went to the local Farmers Market and then hung out with friends. I was expecting the bottom to fall out but it never did Saturday. So I decided to do the brick Sunday afternoon. Well I get on the bike on my trainer because again they are calling for thunderstorms and I didn't feel like getting caught in the middle of that so I stayed on the trainer and went to go for a spin outside to see what the weather was like. It was really gusty and didn't look good. My Panthers were on TV so I called it a day and was waiting for the rain to come. Yet again it turned out to be a nice evening and I felt like a big loser. So I decided Monday I would do a 7 mile run, which I did and I did it in a pretty good time. Felt good and today I am going to do a mini-brick just to make sure I am ready for this weekends Half-Ironman.

Yes this weekend I have a Half-Ironman and I can't wait to get out there and mix it up. I feel good. My hamstring is still tight but it is ok after much stretching. I need to look at this post everyday so I make sure I get pumped to do my workout. Take a look. Thanks Flatman!
