Getting close to the big day...

Well with less then two weeks to go and my hammy still hampering me, I went out this weekend to do what I could do to get prepared. Saturday the weather was amazing here. I had a great 80 miler that afterward I actually felt that I could do a marathon. It was one of the few times I have truly felt that way. BUT Sunday rolled around and my leg was aching. I had already called to get an appointment with one of the best deep tissue guys around here but it isn't until Tuesday. So I decided to just sit and hang with the boy and watch some Panther football. I ended up going to the gym and doing a little swimming and sitting in the hot tub. MY leg felt better but I sort of hated myself for taking it easy like that. I want be able to do that on Nov. 4th. Also a new finding over the weekend, is that my bronchial asthma has come back in a small but confidence crushing way. This has bothered me in the past but I know what it is this time instead of letting it bother me or get to a point where I have to go to the doctor. We will see.

I hope everyone else had a much better weekend.
